Hanamaruken

A friend of mine had just arrived back in Osaka, so we celebrated by drinking in Namba. Afterwards, we went to get ramen on Dotonbori, as one does. I've been to the good places there, and he didn't want to go to Kinryu or Kamukura, so we tried the generic Hanamaruken.

友達が大阪に帰ったので一緒に難波に飲みに行きました。飲んでから、道頓堀のしめラーメンを食べたくなってきました。気になる店にもう行ったことあるし、友達が金龍と神座に行きたくなかったですから普通っぽい花丸軒に行きました。

The Bowl
A generic shop off of Dotonbori sets low expectations, and I was not disappointed. It was a hot and oily, mediocre, tonkotsu shoyu bowl. The noodles were thin, and chewy. Nothing special but good enough when drunk.

道頓堀の一般なラーメン屋さんはしめの感じがします。油っぽくてまあまあ豚骨しょう油スープでした。麺は細かったです。普通でしたけど、しめでいいです。

Would I Go Again?
Nah, not with so many other shops around.

その辺にはいろいろな店がありますからまた行きません。

酔っぱらって他の道頓堀の店に行ったことがあったら、いいかもしれません。
