Kindoki

Golden Week means time to travel! I didn't have the week off, but just some extra days on the weekends, so a couple of Golden Weekend trips it was. The first was to Tottori. We visited the sand dunes, Mount Daisen, and a few other interesting places. While buying souvenirs on our last night, I spotted a phone strap of Chopper from One Piece eating a bowl of Tottori's famous gyukotsu beef bone ramen. I had never heard of it before, but speaking with the people at the information desk, they recommended Kindoki, a shop just down the road.

ようやくゴールデンウィークにナットので、旅行せなあかん！平日に仕事しないとだめでしたから、ゴールデンウィークよりゴールデンウィーケンドになりました。取りあえず鳥取に行きました。砂丘に行ったり、大山に登ったりしました。お土産を買おうとしたら、鳥取の名物牛骨ラーメンを食べているチョッパーのストラプを見かけました。聞いたことがありませんでしたけど、インフォーメーション案内員に話したら、近くにある金時と言う店を紹介してくれました。

The Bowl
A sweet, solid shoyu, not unlike the other gyukotsu I've had before. The noodles were thin, curly, and short. The toppings were standard, but altogether it went down sweet, smooth, and easy.

甘くてまろやかなしょう油でした。前に食べた牛骨に似ている味がしました。麺が短くて縮れて、トッピーングは普通でした。飲みやすくて、すっきりしました。

Would I Go Again?
I don't know if I'll make it out to Tottori again, but if I do, I will eat gyukotsu ramen again.

また鳥取に行くかわかりませんけど、行ったら、また牛骨ラーメンを食べたいです。
