New Dotonbori ramen alert! Dotonbori is crawling with ramen shops that are open until the early hours of the morning, perfect as drunk food. I wasn't thrilled with Todai the last time I went there, but a place this close, I can always try again, right?

道頓堀ラーメン屋さん新登場！道頓堀にはしめラーメン屋さんがいっぱいあります。前回東大に行った時、まあまあだと思いましたけど、今回はどうですか？

The Bowl
Well, not too different from the previous time. Thin and oily broth that was thickened with a raw egg cracked in it. The noodles were thin and straight, and the chashu was standard.

前回と同じようでした。スープは薄めで油っぽかったですけど、卵を入れたらもっととろりがあるようになりました。麺が細くてチャーシューは普通でした。

Would I Go Again?
It might make good drunk food after a night in Namba.

難波で飲んでからしめラーメンとして行くかもしれません。

Should You Go?
If you're out drinking in Namba and hungry, it's convenient and open late.
