Onwards and upwards. I tried three of the shops available at the Dotonbori Ramen Festa, so just two left. This time I went with Kyoto's famous Shakariki, and their tonkotsu gyokai ramen.
Shakariki offered a pretty light but good tonkotsu gyokai ramen. It was similar to bowls I've had before like Mitsuboshi Seimenjo - broth like you'd expect from a tsukemen shop, but just a tinge thinner. The noodles were thin and stuck together not unlike soba. A solid bowl for a cold evening.
