Dotonbori Ramen Festa (Menya Taku)

Dotonbori Ramen Festa! Ramen events are not uncommon, and show up from time to time around Kansai. However, they're usually far away, and over a short period of time like a weekend. This lucky time, though, there was a two week event right on Dotonbori! With only six shops over two weeks, I aimed to hit all of them. 道頓堀らーめんフェスタ！ラーメンイベントはよくあるし、たまに関西のどっかで出てきます。でも、普段そのイベントはちょっと離れていて、二日間みたいな短い間しかやりません。今回運がよくて、道頓堀で二週間イベントをやっていました！６軒しかありませんでしたから全部行けそうでした。最初、一周目だけ出る東京の「ソラノイロ」に行ってみました．．．

...but it was sold out. In that case, I went to the other shop that was only open for the first week, one of my local favorites Menya Taku. I was that confident I would be able to hit the other four.

．．．でも売り切れていました。ほんで、もう一個の一周目だけの店に行きました。大阪の大好きな麺や拓でした。他の４軒に行く自信がぜんぜんありました。

The Bowl
The bowl served at the festa was not the tonkotsu gyokai from the flagship, but the chicken gyokai from Men Life Taku. As always, it was a rich soup with a frothy touch, and enough seafood to cut the thickness. It wasn't helped by the fact that it was the middle of winter and served in a foam bowl, but it was still a great introduction to the festa.

提供したラーメンは本店の魚介豚骨じゃなくて、麺Life拓の鶏魚介だぶるスープラーメンでした。いつものようにこってりですけどまろやかなスープでした。冬で発泡スチロールの丼鉢でもらって、それはちょっと微妙でしたけど、今年のフェスタのいい紹介でした。
